La muerte de todos los días/every day dead, is a collection of images I took during the firsts years of Mexico’s Drug War 2007 - 2011, mainly in Tijuana and Ciudad Juárez. Initially part of a daily news coverage it quickly became part of my daly life, at the same time that thousands of people in Mexico began to suffer the consequences of a State of impunity built through years corruption held by a weak judiciary system. Soon it became clear, that this war would change Mexico’s history. La muerte de todos los días/every day dead, born as personal and professional response to the violence nonsense generated by a war that nor authorities and common civilians were prepared for. According to several sources more than 200,000 people have been killed or have disappeared since Mexico's government declared war on organized crime in December 2006.
